Thank you one and all for your kind support of extending this Learning Center (LC) to accommodate more slum children to receive a good, quality education to give them a head start in life.
Construction commenced in Sep 2019. It would take about a year to complete it.
Fun, Fellowship and Training
Meanwhile Pastor Jojo is gathering pre-believer youth in the neighbourhood to have fun, fellowship and training at the current LC. They learn music and develop leadership skills in preparation for the opening of our new church on the second floor of this extension.
We need musical instruments esp. guitars and keyboard for Pastor Jojo to teach these youth. If anyone has an extra one or want to get rid of one, please don’t hesitate to contact us. Thank you.
Rainy Season
Rainy season is here again and so are the muddy roads in these slum areas!! We are very grateful to staff, Disciples and volunteers in carrying everything that are needed to bless these people eg. sound system, fans, food, etc.
Thank you to all sponsors who tirelessly provide a wonderful and nutritious lunch for our precious youth. In the Philippines, fruits are a luxury that the poor can’t afford. So in all these donated meals, a fruit eg. apple, orange, banana, water melon, etc is served.
