Christmas Hampers and Other Blessings

We all know that we are still in the pandemic but despite of it, God has been so good and generous. Truly, He is our shepherd and we will lack nothing. His provision is over-flowing and His love for His people is unmeasurable. Last Christmas, many families from our beneficiaries experienced a joyful Christmas because of the abundant blessings they received from our dearest sponsors. They are amazed that they received these blessings in just a day. This was a big help for them, because it lessens their expenses for the food they are about to buy on Christmas day. In addition of the Christmas gifts they have received, we all know that in our situation today it’s not easy to earn money because a lot of people lost their jobs and some closed their businesses. But despite of that, our beneficiaries are still blessed to have their sponsors who are lending them a helping hand. Let us look at their happy faces even they have masked on, you can still through their eyes the joy they have in their hearts. Distribution of Christmas hampers with social distancing, wearing a face mask and using of alcohol, for the safety of everyone.

We’re Back on Track

We give thanks to God for His goodness and unending faithfulness. He made the COVID condition reduce below the critical level before Christmas came, resulting in us being able to conduct face-to-face fellowships.

“We praise God for the fact that we now have a 50 percent capacity for gathering. We were also able to meet the Agape Ladies who had not been vaccinated as well as seniors. The government has now authorized us to participate in fellowship while wearing face mask. Praise the Lord, we’ve returned to a face-to-face gathering!”

Agape Ladies Bible Study

We are grateful to God for establishing the Agape Ladies Bible Study at Building 29. Every Bible Study has 20-30 people in attendance. The leaders are willing to go above and above in service for the Lord. Thank God that they are hungry for God’s Word and nourishment.

The ladies are overjoyed to have received their Hamper and Pata, and they are grateful for God’s help despite the pandemic.

Happy Agape Ladies Leaders

The Agape Ladies leaders performed this year at the Agape Christmas party, and all of Agape’s Leaders enjoyed a night of fellowship. We are celebrating a year-end party for the first time since the Pandemic.- The Agape Ladies leaders performed this year at the Agape Christmas party, and all of Agape’s Leaders enjoyed a night of fellowship. We are celebrating a year-end party for the first time since the Pandemic.

For the year 2022, the Agape Ladies Leaders make an effort to practice for their special number and to receive their new Agape Ladies Uniform.

Birthday Celebrants

We have a monthly celebration with the Agape Precious to celebrate their birthdays. They feel significant and special because of the gift they received, and despite their age, they were able to celebrate joyfully.

Testimony

Ten kilos of rice and other blessings from a sponsor have helped this woman and her son’s basic needs to be met, and she no longer has to worry for a few months. She’s too old to have a job, she can’t see clearly, and her son is mentally sick, despite that they’re very grateful for the blessings to meet their physical needs.

Edufund Scholars Tiktok Contest

Everyone is excited to have this kind of activity for our scholars because this is the time where they can show their talents. We encourage them that whatever they have they can use it to bring glory to God and this was the purpose of this contest. They prepared and practiced a lot for them to move to the finals. In the First round, they select their own Christian Tiktok songs, and dance steps. For this round we select the best by having the highest number of likes in our EduFund FB page. Then the winners of the 1^st round move to the finals, that had one Tiktok Christian music song, in which they had to create their own dance step and some twist for them to create a great dance video. Our EduFund scholars are very happy and enjoyed in this contest, and for the groups who didn’t move to the finals we acknowledged them for their effort. Thanks to their parents who supported them a lot, even though the youth are not allowed to meet face-to-face but they make ways, give their time and effort to have this event succesful.

BGR (Boy-Girl-Relationship) Seminar

It is such a wonderful opportunity that WSCS conducted a virtual seminar for our High school and College Scholars. In which the Seminar helps them to understand the Biblical perspective about boy and girl relationship; because during their stage, the urge starts to develop or feeling of likeness toward each other. As we know that nowadays social media is a great factor in the lives of our youth. Their minds are occupied with so many things, influence and getting worldly understanding about relationship.

Here are some applications of what the youth have learned:
1. They will wait for the right time, no need to rush into a relationship.
2. Set boundaries to keep themselves pure.
3. Don’t do sex outside of marriage.
4. They will honor God and follow God’s standard.
5. They will honor God with their bodies.

Our prayer is that the Word of God will serve as their guide in life especially in dealing with their emotions towards the opposite sex. They must learn to commit their future in God and trust Him and enjoy the Lord as their basic security and their first love.
