During our sharing at the monthly devotion, we were touched by her sharing. She said that she is thankful to Oikos that through her children’s education sponsorship she didn’t just receive a blessing of education for free for her two daughters, but she now knows the importance of having a relationship to the Lord Jesus Christ.
She said her children will have a good future through scholarship, besides that her life is transforming and changing in knowing her relationship with Christ.
She said her life before is not the same as today, she does not read the Bible before and she doesn’t even go to church. But now she begin to read and wanting the Word of God, she comes to church like it seems it is not just for requirements. She learned to trust and believe in God.

Combined Fellowship with Ladies’ Group, the topic shared was a very good tool in studying the Word of God – Bible.
Also Pastor Irene’s sharing was so powerful and meaningful as parents listen to it; we believe that it has a great impact to most of them.
This sharing is very practical yet shared Biblical through the speaker,
I personally learned a lot too.
Besides their powerful sharing, parents were blessed with the incentives and scholars were so happy to meet their sponsors giving a simple thank you card and received an early Christmas gift!

As a helping hand, we offer them a moment of happiness,
a moment of joy and end with something for them to
bring home to celebrate Christmas with their
families.
It was a fruitful time for the youth where they learn to draw away from the world’s pressures and into God’s presence, spending time with God during quiet time and bonding with Christian friends are a treasure.
